Jerod Couch is an accomplished film Director based in Dallas, Texas. He is the owner of The Creative Couch, which specializes in creating exceptional film, TV, and video content. Before venturing into independent filmmaking, Jerod worked as a Producer and Writer at ESPN from 2008-2013 and led the creative team for Major League Baseball's Texas Rangers for three seasons. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Radio-TV-Film (2007) and an MBA (2015) from The University of Texas at Austin.
Jerod's work has garnered critical acclaim and recognition, including two regional Emmy wins, 13 Emmy nominations, and 7 Telly Awards. His most prominent project, the half-hour dramedy "#WASHED," was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2021, screened at festivals from coast to coast and has won several awards, including Best Texas Film at the Houston Comedy Film Festival and Best Ensemble at the Minnesota WebFest.
He has also been featured in various publications, including Inc Magazine, USA Today, Sports Illustrated, RollingOut, Dallas Observer, Panavision, Deadline, Yahoo! Sports, The Hollywood Reporter, Entertainment Tonight, Deadline ESPN, Revolt, ABC, FOX, and NBC.
